To perform Umrah you need a Saudi visa that allows Umrah. For most pilgrims from Pakistan this is either the Umrah visa, issued together with your hotel and transport booking, or the tourist e-visa, which also allows Umrah outside the Hajj season.

Short stay or long stay visa?
Most pilgrims stay 2 to 4 weeks, which a short stay Umrah visa covers. If you want to stay longer, for example a month or more in Ramadan, or to visit family, ask us about a long stay visa (up to about 85 days). Tell us how many days you plan to stay and we will advise the right visa and its fee.

Documents you need
- Passport valid for at least 6 months, with two blank pages.
- Recent photo with a white background (a clear phone photo is usually fine).
- CNIC copy; for children, the B-form or Family Registration Certificate (FRC).
- Vaccination certificates: meningitis (ACYW) and polio. Pakistan travellers must show polio vaccination.
- Confirmed hotel booking and return ticket. We provide these with your package.
- For women travelling with family: the relationship can be shown with the FRC or marriage certificate if asked.
How long does it take?
Most Umrah visas are issued within 3 to 7 working days once all documents are complete. Apply at least 2 to 3 weeks before travel, and earlier for Ramadan and the school holidays, when flights and hotels fill up quickly.
Nusuk app permits
After arriving, you book some visits through the official Nusuk app, for example a time slot to pray in the Riyad al-Jannah (Rawdah) in Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. Download it before you travel; our team can help you set it up.
Common reasons for delays
- The name on the passport and the booking do not match exactly.
- Passport valid for less than 6 months, or a damaged passport.
- Unclear photo or missing vaccination certificate.
